The creation process involved getting to know their family history, the parents who were born and lived in the region, the old house with a porch, the embaúba tree from their parents' childhood, the stories of the jaguar.
The illustration is a portal to other times, of lunches with polenta on the hanging balcony and the jaguar roaming around.
